Trojan Remover - Trojan Remover is designed to automatically remove malware (trojans, worms, adware, spyware, etc.) from a PC when standard anti-virus software has either failed to detect the malware or is unable to effectively eliminate it. It can also detect and disable/remove malware hidden using rootkit techniques.

The majority of Virus and Trojan scanners are well able to detect malicious files but are not very efficient in removing them if they have already been triggered. Trojan Remover can detect and remove malware without the user having to manually edit system files, including the Windows Registry, and all without using SAFE mode.

New malware files are found daily. Many of the newer trojans, worms (and some Spyware) use rootkit techniques to hide their presence. This means that the files are not visible on the system. Trojan Remover uses specially designed routines to automatically detect files hidden in this way, and alerts the user of their presence. These files can be disabled and/or completely removed.

Trojan Remover also removes the additional system modifications some malware programs carry out which are ignored by most other Virus and Trojan scanners.

Trojan Remover records information to a logfile each time a new Scan is activated. This logfile contains detailed information on which system areas were checked, which programs/files are loaded at boot time and what (if any) actions were taken. The logfile is viewable from the Main Menu and can provide valuable system information.

This product did help fix a couple of problems I was having due to a virus, however it did not completely remove the virus from my computer and the full functionality of my machine was not restored.

I was terribly disappointed by my experience with Trojan Remover 6.8.1. The website that provided download information indicated that one could try it for 30-days before one needed to register it by paying the fee offer. Needless to say, I found out after I downloaded the product that one needed to pay up front and there was no mention of a 30-day trail period. This is a very poor business practice, and my response was to remove every remnant of TR 6.8.1.

Shame on you for the poor business practive of bait and switch. What was even more surprising was the fact that you are a British Company, which from my experience and friends in GB, you typically display a high degree of trustworthyness. Oh well - this must be a one-off experience!

Respeted all this software is good and working but unable to remove trojan hourse. When I restart the system trojan virus activated and not removed permanently.

LOVE IT ! I take care of over a dozen machines and this is a GREAT HELP. I have anti-virus and anti-trojan already running and I still need this nearly daily, and it fixes whats left.

Great Product ! I bought 4 copies before the new prices increase - right now you can get 4 copies for 35$ that never expire. After June 1st it goes to 35$ year per copy - still a good price - but right now - this is a HOT price.

Money Well Spent

I've used Trojan Remover for a little over a year now and it's already paid for itself in the time and aggravation it's saved me. Even replacing my key after I accidentally deleted it was immediate and painless.

doesn`t work for my backdoor trojan

Hi this product showed an issue in my registry but it could not remove it or get it out. the issue was always there the next time I restarted and the Trojan remover was telling me that it could not get to the issue as it was hidden and could not remove it as it was locked....so now have to get new hard drive it's on the way and restart from the beginning!!!

thanks for the trial...tried everything and nothing ever works!!!

This tool functions pretty effectively.

But there are some terms from the "removal suggestion" is not clear and user-friendly enough.

The interface is very poor.
